Dr. W. Jean-Luc Sansfaute, DC
Dr. W. Jean-Luc Sansfaute is a licensed Chiropractor serving the Alexandria community. As a Chiropractor with experience, Dr. W. Jean-Luc is committed to promoting the health and well-being of his patients.
In his hometown of
Paris, France, Dr. W. Jean-Luc Sansfaute first became acquainted with the
word Chiropractic through some of his American friends. With a keen
interest for holistic medicine, this discovery soon triggered a series
of events that would bring him to the United States for the sole
purpose of achieving his new found goal...becoming a Chiropractor.
Dr. W. Jean-Luc earned his BA from Brigham Young University, where he taught French and Gross Anatomy. He went on to graduate from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX in 2003 as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. W. Jean-Luc has taken several continuing education seminars on extremity adjusting and rehabilitation, the Gonstead adjusting technique, Activator methods, active and passive physiotherapy, the Cox Flexion/Distraction technique, Applied Kinesiology, the Sacro-Occipital technique and Canine adjusting.
Dr. W. Jean-Luc uses a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. W. Jean-Luc is able to help you accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.
Meagan Walters, Office Manager/Chiropractic Assistant Meagan first decided to seek out a Chiropractor while
studying Architecture at Lehigh University. The constant migraines and long
hours of hunching over a desk were taking their
toll on her body. She got a referral from a friend and has been enjoying the
benefits of Chiropractic ever since. After graduating from Lehigh in 2005 with
an Architecture degree, Meagan moved to Wilmington, NC to pursue her
career. Two years later, she realized being an Architect was not for her,
so she moved to Alexandria, VA and began work in a Chiropractic office in June
2007. Immediately, she was hooked. Meagan completed her
Chiropractic Assistant Certification in July 2008 from Life West Chiropractic
College, and began working at Skyline Wellness Center in October of 2008. She
is an advocate for the environment and is helping to make SWC a green
chiropractic office.
